How To Get Rid Of The Red Patches On My Shin Caused By Itching?

For the past month or so I've noticed that my shins are really itchy and I scratch them pretty hard when in my bath. A week ago I noticed that there are ugly red patches there now ... and the skin if dry and bumpy. I've tried various creams but nothing has helped so far.

Hello and welcome to HCM,

The problem you described could be irritant or maybe just due to dryness.
Take oral antiallergic like cetrizine for relief of itching, and apply moisturizer over your shin on a damp skin for better absorption.
If the condition doesnt improve you can consult your physician and get a topical corticosteroid like hydrocortisone for your lesion.

Hope I helped. Feel free to follow up in case of doubt
