How To Get Rid Of The Dark Hyper Pigmentation On My Cheek?

Hi doctor, I m having a dark hyper pigmentation on my left cheek. I tried applying various creams like melacare and even MELADERM, imported from USA. But nothing worked.. Please advice if there is any surgery or any treatment that can be done to get this lighten. Thanks Regards, Allarakha Sayed

Hello,
Thank you for posting on HCM.
Melasma is a kind of hyperpigmentation dictated by hormones and sunlight.
Since you have already tried and failed on routine treatment i would advise you to consult a good dermatologist for proper management.
I would suggest you series of chemical peeling like Jessner peel or Yellow peel with or without prior microdermabrasion.
Alternatively, you can also opt for laser therapy or mesotherapy.
Always use broad spectrum sunscreen beforw goin out in sun.
