How To Get Rid Of Stye On Eye?

Hi,
I have the beginnings a little stye on my eye. I've heard that ear wax can take care of it. Why would this work? Would I simply rub a waxy Q-tip on the stye? Must it be my own ear wax? (Not that I can get a hold of anyone else' but just out of curiosity.)

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having stye on the eyelid.
Ear wax will not act on this. The treatment of the condition is by use of antibiotic eye ointment and oral antiinflammatory drugs.
Applying hot compression provides symptomatic relief.
If you are having recurrent attacks of stye, need to consult your doctor to rule out uncorrected refractive error, chronic blepharitis... and treatment for the same.

Thank you
