How To Get Rid Of Recurring Fungal Infection In A Perforated Ear Drum And What To Take To Help Drain Fluid In The Ear?

I have had fungal infection on and off in my right ear for 2yrs I'm currently taking sporanox, I have a perforated ear drum in right ear and am currently waiting to have surgery to fix it, my ent specialist is away on holidays until 6th jan, I feel my right ear is full of fluid is there anything I can take to help drain fluid. I have had many ear suctions done by my ent and no doubt will have another one next visit, just need help to relieve it till then.

Hello,
You can take a Decongestant tablet with antihistaminic , with nasal decongestant
I advice to my patients-- like xylometazoline nose drops 2 drops both nostril 2 times a day for 5 days
Oral decongestant like phenylephrine and anti histaminic like Loratidine or ebastine two times a day.
Keep ear dry.
