Hi, I had shoulder arthroscopy 6 days ago and noticed a rash and itching in my armpits, the worst one being under the shoulder that was operated on.. i did have a scalene nerve block. I also have the rash on my hips and spreading around to my low and mid back...it is most itchy and uncomfortable in my armpit. As I think about it, I had this same rash after my C-section and after 2 other surgeries and I am wondering if it could be a reaction to the anesthesia. The only other drugs I am on are advair for asthma, allegra for seasonal allergies, and advil. I stopped taking norco on the third day. I noticed the rash the second day after surgery, but it seems to be getting worse, not better.
