Noted the history of a 19 years old male having antral gastritis and taking Pantop 40 with Sucrafil for the last 2 weeks but the nausea, stomach pain , indigestion and discomfort on stomach; have normal serum amylase and thyroid profile. This indicates that the causative factors are still in action and that is why you are not getting the actions. The probable causes are: Stress and/or anxiety. Something in the diet, foods and beverages that are instigating or enhancing. Needs additional treatment in the form of a motility regulator like Domperidone. Additional investigations like CT scan of the abdomen to see if there is any problems in the gall bladder, liver, pancreas and so on. Control of the stress and anxiety. full sleep, early dinner, small frequent meals of soft and bland diet. No outside food at all. This way you can get the relief as well as the additional information if any and treatment for that too.
