How To Get Rid Of Mich Phlegm In Chest And Throat?
I recently had a tonsillectomy done (a week & a day ago), I have so Mich phlegm build up in my chest and throat and I was wondering what are a few safe ways to get rid of it. I'm 14, weigh around 150 (but I've definitely lost weight) & I'm otherwise very healthy.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of much phlegm in chest and throat which is because of viral infection/ upper respiratory infection. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles three times daily. You should take hot milk boiled with half a teaspoon of turmeric. Taking decongestant nasal spray can also be relieving. If you feel pain and discomfort in body or throat taking painkillers like Ibuprofen Or Paracetamol can be relieving. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist once and get it examined. Doctor may order blood tests and x-ray chest. Doctor may order pulmonary function tests to detect level of infection. Drink lukewarm water on daily basis.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
