Allergist and Immunologist 's  Response
Hello,

Thank you for asking at HCM.

I went through your son's history and would like to make suggestions as follows:

1. Were I treating him, I would prescribe him an antihistamine like cetirizine in the morning and hydroxyzine in the evening (before going to bed) for at least 5-7 days depending upon response.

2. If it is eczema, it is important to know the cause of eczema and to avoid the causing factor.

3. I would also suggest application of a lotion or moisturizer over eczema areas.

4. If he has severe eczema, corticosteroid creams also may be necessary. Please apply them only after consulting a pediatrician/dermatologist.

Hope above suggestions will be helpful to you.

Should you have any further query, please feel free to ask at HCM.

Wish your son the best of the health ahead.

Thank you & Regards.
