Hello thank you for posting your query in HMC. I understand your concern. May i know where is the itching most severe on the body? Do you have any allergies? Did you develop any rashes over the body? If a patient with same complaints comes to me in my clinic i would definitely do tests to rule out the cause which include blood test to find out infections, thyroid profile test, skin test to find its sensitivity, skin biopsy for allergic reactions. I would suggest to keep hydrated by driking plenty water, and to use good moisturises and avoid soaps, detergents that increase itching. Hope i have answered your question.
