How To Get Relief From Severe Itchy Toes During Winter?

I am suffering from itching toes, and had it last winter and it came back this winter. It looks like red blisters, but they dont drain or pop, and dont leave peeling skin. I dont have diabetes, and am very active. It is worse at night the itching is so severe that I get scared my toes will have to be removed. My doctor gave an appt with dermatologist, but it took so long to geet the appt , it had cleared up in the spring. This Dec it returned.

Hi

You seem to be developing frostbite which is basically the reaction of our skin to severe cold.
You should protect your hands and feet from cold by wearing proper woollen socks and gloves. Avoid contact with cold water or air.
You can apply a topical steroid cream like cortisone over the affected areas twice a day .
In addition you might need to take some oral antihistamine like claritin for the associated itching .
