How To Get Pregnant After A Miscarriage?

hello doctor,

I had an early miscarriage (went on naturally) in october 2010, ie, two months back... i am trying to conceive again,,,i would like to know that should i take proper rest for this purpose or then carry with my routine life..i would like to know whether climbing staircase etc affects my conception? i have a 20 months old daughter too... also getting white discharge continuously....

Hi,
Thanks for the query.I understand your concern.
The white discharge you have indicates some stress/inflammation or infrction in genital tract.You need to consult a gynecologist to treat it after necessary investigations.
The cause of the abortion can be hormonal defeciency . (in first 3 months ),some infections,some problems with formation or placement of fetus or organic problems in uterus.You should assess cause of abortion with your gynecilogist's help &investigations &remove the cause.. before you conceive.
Taking rest for at least 3 months following abortion allows healing of organs before next conception.
Climbing stares will not affect conception.. but it may be advised in few cases for continuation of pregnancy.
Thus due care before & after onception would help.
