How To Even The Skin Tone On Face?

I used a mandelic 25percent peel at home. I was told that it was very mild and that I would not get a bad reaction. My skin on my cheeks have gone bright red and my chin has gone very dark . Thr skin is very dry and tight. I knew that I would have some redness but my face feels sore. I have used aloe Vera and jojoba oil to moisturize and the obagi action for the dryness. Please can you tell me what else I can use or if the skin will peel on its own.?

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

Seems to have developed an irritant reaction to possibly peel Or to aloe vera that you had used post peel

In such a case I would have advised my patient to use a moderately potent topical steroid e.g fluticasone twice daily for a week. That should make it fine.

Use a gentle cleanser for face wash e.g cetaphil cleansing lotion twice daily rather than using a soap.

regards
