How To Diagnose If Skin Rashes And Throat Pain Are Caused Due To Poison Oak?

I started have an outbreak of what looks like poison oak yesterday. But I have not contacted it in months. Today the rash has spread all over. I can still breathe, my throat had a slight ache, but I've been coughing and getting over a cold. The rash seems to be spreading, but it could just be in my head.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have skin rashes and throat pain are caused due to poison oak. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to certain reasons , but in your case the symptoms are probably due to allergic reaction . I would suggest you to consult allergy specialisy without any delay to prevent the condition like anaplylaxis . Doctor may give adrenaline short . Doctor may also prescribe immunosuppressants along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist got throat infection . For now drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated and take over the counter anti histamine like zyrtec.
