How To Determine The Paternity Of A Fetus?

Hello, I have an average of 32 day cycle. If I m correct I ovulate 18 days before my expected period. My last period started from July 2 to July 5th. My expected period was on August 3. I usually have unprotected sex with my husband all the time. But on the 16th of July I had protected sex with another man. When I went to the washroom I whipped myself and found a clear fluid discharge. Did that mean it broke? I saw it intact to his penis afterwards though. Now I am pregnant and I may not know who the father is.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Since you are pregnant now, it is difficult to predict who the real father is at this stage.
After the baby is born, its biological father can be determined by following means:
1. ABO blood grouping
2. Human leukocyte antigen antigens
3. DNA profiling or Genetic fingerprinting
Genetic testing is the most standard and reliable one.
Hope the information provided would be useful.
All the best.
