How To Determine Paternity Based On Conception?

Hi, i am 21 n 38weeks pregnant. Around the time of conception i was also having sex once a week with a man in his late sixties, early seventies as well as reguarly having sex with my partner and as i get closer to my due date i wonder if this other guy may be the father instead of my partner and it is really stressing me out. The only reason i had unprotective sex with the other guy is because he promised me he couldnt get anybody pregnant, but now im not so sure? What do you think?

There is no way to know for certain who the father might be without doing DNA tests on the baby and the 2 men. You only have the older man's word that he couldn't get anybody pregnant. You could ask him if he had tests for infertility and to see the tests if he did. That would alleviate your concerns if a confirmation of his sterility could be obtained. Otherwise all you can do is wait until the baby is born, when you might be able to see a resemblance to your partner or the other man, or could get the blood tests done. Hope this answers your query.

There is a small amount of fetal DNA present in the mother's blood during pregnancy. This allows for accurate fetal DNA paternity testing during pregnancy from a blood draw from mother , which carries no risk of miscarriage
Parental testing can be performed by collecting Buccal cells found on the inside of a person's cheek using a Buccal swab or cheek swab.DNA profiling of both fetus and male partners thus can determine parentage with 99.99% accuracy.
please consult your gynaecologist.

Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

Dear Mam, First thing to remember is there is a very rare and rarest possibility for the other guy of his age to make you pregnant. May be nil practically.

The usual chance of predicting fatherhood is if you had intercourse with the person from 8th to 18th day of last menstrual cycle taking 1st day of last menstruation as day 1. If you had the sex during that period, there may be remote chance theoretically but not practically.

Hope this guides you.
Thank you.

hello madam,
it is a really difficult situation to be in...
having unprotected sex with many is always dangerous,
only way to solve your problem is by getting dna analysis done of the child..
