How To Detect The Heart Problem In Fetus?

Hello! Im six months pregnant an i went to the doctor and had an ultrasound and they said they detect somehing wrong with my baby heart an thet would like for me to go see a specialist but at the moment I have no problem in my pregnancy and the doctor say that my baby heart rate is fine but my baby move kicks. So what complication would I be having or would i have any to know if there was really something wrong with my baby.she say that it maybe nothing but they would like to check and that it probably would develop at th end of the full term i would appreciate your answer for my question...

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion the fetal heart can be better evaluated by fetal echocardiography.But any investigation can detect upto 80 to 90% of anamolies if present.And a few heart abnormalities might be detected a year after birth.For now may be fetal echocardiography might be helpful.So discuss with your doctor regarding that.
