How To Cure Upset Stomach And Nausea In Kids?
My 9 year old son has recently complained of upset stomach and nausea. He already is a picky eater and now eats less due to the fear of throwing up. I do notice he does belch more often and not always after eating. He has always been a nervous child, worries about everything. I fear he might have ulcers. He moves his bowels daily or every other day . Thank you for your input.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your son have symptoms of upset stomach and nausea in kids. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like infection of the gut , electrolyte imbalance in body, food poisoning , inflammation of the gut colitis, food intolerance and due to imbalance of electrolytes. Need not to worry. You should take oral rehydrating solution to maintain hydration status of body. Avoid intake of outside food. Give child plenty of fluids. Avoid taking outside food. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist once for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe loperamide , laxative , omeprazole and antacids . For now give your child fruits like banana and lot of fluid.
