My six year old son seems to have injured his left eye last night, we dont know how for sure. The eyeball itself is swollen and seems misshaped around the pupil (in the white part). When I have him look up I can see the lower par of his eyelid bulge out as if the swelling in the lower part of the eye is more severe. I compared it to his right eye to see the difference. He claims he can see out of it and only complains that it itches a little but I have never seen an eye injury like this where the white part of the eye has swollen up. Is this something that just requires time for the swelling to go down or is this a sign that something more serious may have happened?
