How To Cure Severe Pain In Gall Bladder And White Spots In Throat Like Strep?
My mom has been having gallbladder attacks. She just had a HYDA scan last Monday and the doctors determined her gallbladder is functioning at a 9. They scheduled a consult with a surgeon for February 24th (still a week away). She was in serious pain Friday night, all day yesterday and now today. She can at least get up and walk today. She has no fever, however, she has also developed white spots in the back of her throat that look like it could be strep. What should she do?
Gallbladder should be removed if the pain is caused by it. Characteristic for gallbladder issues are upper right abdominal pain radiating to the back, nausea, vomiting. If she has upper middle abdominal pain along with nausea, and the symptoms are strongly associated with foods intake, this can be peptic ulcer. In such case gastroscopy is necessary. Till the gallbladder surgery she should avoid any fatty foods, spicy foods, alcohol, coffee. White spots in the throat, if painful, are most likely caused by bacteria and should be treated with antibiotic. Please her to the doctor and ask about it.
Hope this will help. Regards.
