hi..thanks for writing..i have understood your concerns..
premature ejaculation can be treated with behavioral methods and drugs also..the average time for ejaculation after intravaginal entry is 3 to 7 minutes..duration of less than 1 to 2 minutes is considered as premature or early ejaculation..
but it is subjective phenomenon, and if person feels that it shud last long then there are methods for delaying ejaculation without taking any drugs..these techniques are:
1. squeeze technique
2.stop-start method
and other interruption techniques..
you hve to practice these regularly and you find benefits after some time of practice..effects are long lasting..your partner can help in applying these methods..you can read them from internet..but it would be better if you
consult a psychiatrist, he will explain you in detail how to perform it..
there are drugs which can delay ejaculation. they are of two types:
1. shud be taken daily for long term for beneficial effects
2. shud be taken as and when required basis, before sex
these drugs are antidepressant medication which causes delayed ejaculation as a side effect..
in my opinion, you shud consult a psychiatrist and ask for help..give details of your problems and he will guide you through the treatment..
i hope this will suffice..and be helpful..best of luck..
