How To Cure Pain On The Right Side Of The Groin Area?

I have noticed right sided groin region pain that seemed to show mild sensitivity to my right testicle as well. It is sore at rest. It began this morning during a shower, however last night I was demonstrating a dead lift exercise to a client and remember feeling a mild strain sensation in my right groin. Being a physiotherapist I am inclined to believe it is muscular but am concerned by the soreness at rest. Is there any way to easily differentiate between an inguinal hernia and a psoas or hip flexor strain?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern this is right side pain of groin area and that containing many internal organs and from the history given here it could be renal colic, appendicitis, hernia, right now this complain can be treated conservatively, with the "Tab Acetaminophen and Dicyclomine three times in day, if this fails to respond then you need to go for clinical examination, have a nice day.
