How To Cure Pain In Chest And Shoulder Blades Caused Due To A Injury?

Should I be concerned developing diarrhea two days after a car accident? No serious injuries I m aware of, just airbag impact to the chest and possibly stomach and a small bump on my head. It hurts in my chest and between my shoulder blades when I take a deep breath. Have not had any stomach cramping or nausea just random diarrhea...

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concern.
Problem of diarrhoea should be due to some other reason or just due to anxiety and not as a result of some internal injuries. If there is some injury to organs in abdomen due to air bag, they would have presented differently like abdominal pain with guarding, blood in stool or vomiting, hypovolemic shock etc.
I don't find anything to worry for diarrhoea.
Your pain in chest and shoulder blade on deep breath is due to muscular injury. You can take paracetamol for that.
Hope this will be helpful.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Take care.
