How To Cure Knot On The Forehead After Falling Down?

I fell and hit my forehead and nose resulting in a cut?large knot on my forehead, which happened a little over a month ago. I also received two grossly black eyes. I believed them to be caused by hitting my nose so hard. My knot had greatly reduced, but my question is, will it eventually go away completely? It is slightly above my left eye. I am female.

I am Dr. Deepak, I work in Emergency Department. I understand you being female you are very worried about the knot which you sustained due to injury as its on the face.
The knot is mostly because of the blood collection that happens following the injury, it gets clotted which appears like knot and after sometime it gets dissolved as you told it has reduced in size.
now as you told there is still small knot. Which suggest two possibilities:
1. the Clot is still in the process of dissolving, it will some more time for the clot to dissolve. Where you can wait and watch for some more time may be 1-2 weeks more.
2. There might a foreign body inside the wound which got in when you got injured. which means the clot is dissolved completely and the knot that you feel it because of the foreign body and the fibrosis that it causes. For this you still need to wait for some more time like 1-2 months if its still persisting, Then I would recommend you should pay a visit to a plastic surgeon.
