How To Cure High Fever Of Infant?

Hello my son is 1 year old.he has fever which does not increase gradually but shoots to 102-103.I gave him combiflam and zofix.our dr told us to get his blood and urine tested, on seeing reports he said he has either typhoid or malaria.how can I get sure of his ailment?what care should I take?

Hi,
Thanks for asking query on health care magic.
Paracetamol given 3-4 times daily will reduce temperature.
Tepid sponging when there is high fever also helps.
Children of this age may go into febrile convulsions at the height of temparature.
You may try frizium to prevent convulsions.
Better consult a pediatrician for diagnosing the cause of fever and appropriate treatment.
