How To Cure Heartburn And Pressure In Chest?

I have had heartburn for most of the day and a pressure in my chest. The pressure seems to come and go. I also have some discomfort in my left shoulder. I flew long distance Tuesday night and experienced some sweilling in my ankles after the flight and tonight. It comes and goes. I had an EKG a month or so ago and it was fine. I have been under stress, especially today.

Hi, thank you for asking healthcare magic.
The pain you feel might be from gastritis or gastro-esophageal reflux disease. I would suggest you try antacids in association with a proton pump inhibitor like omeprazole. You will feel much better. Concerning the swellings at the ankles, it might have resulted from gravity and will disappear when you lie down.

I hope that answers your query.
I wish you well
