I have had a stinging pain sensation that shoots down the center of my right arm starts from the same spot about 1 1/2 inches from inside of elbow area and shoots downward a few inches and has lasted for two days now. Started slowly, now is setting off several times an hour. Also, when my arm hangs down it feels like my hand is swollen like circulation is cut off. Could this be a nerve issue or something to be checked quickly. The stinging sometimes goes right away and sometimes it persists like an ache. I am a female in my late forties, no health issues. No changes in activity. expect having flown on an airplane three days ago.
