Hi, i had severe cold around 10 days ago & my right part of nose & ear were blocked. I was feeling fullness in my right ear and couldnt hear well too. Now cold is fine & hearing is also fine but i hear a hissing continuous low tone sound in my right ear since 4-5 days. Please advise what to do & how to cure.

HI.
The problem of the blockage and fullness in the nose and the ear on the same side was due to infection. This apparently got solved but the inner ear also got affected. Due to swelling of the internal ear apparatus you are hearing this hissing sound also called as TINNITUS.
You have to continue antibiotics, antihistamine and anti-inflammatory medicines and may be an added steroid to get an early relief otherwise this can become permanent.
Get blood sugar checked as well as thyroid function tests just to make sure they are normal .
