How To Cure An Ulcer In The Esophagus?

I just learned that I have been exposed to black mold for about 9 months in my office at work, about two weeks ago I experienced a chronic coughing for several hours and then had food get stuck in my throat, and was not able to swallow even my saliva, I was in the ER and hospital had a upper scope and learned I have an ulser in my esophagus at the entry to my stomic. my question can black mold cause these systems, is there any special treatment I need to combat the black mold?

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of getting exposed to black mold in office for 9 months at office, there was chronic cough for about several hours, then the food got stuck in throat, unable to swallow saliva, went to ER, upper GI Endoscopy showed ulcer at the lower end of esophagus at the entry into stomach, wants to know whether this exposure to mold can cause such a problem.
As per the history you have provided, exposure to mold can not cause the esophageal ulcer at the lower end.
Exposure to mold can cause respiratory problems as you had severe cough which in turn could have caused such a problem.
Well the treatment is get the mold treatment at the office immediately.
For the ulcer at the lower esophagus you must have been prescribed a PPI, antacid and domperidone.
I find this answer helpful
