How To Cure A Tiny Bump On The Outer Rim Of The Sphincter Area?

I clean the sphincter area at every shower (penetrating just a little). A week ago I noticed a tiny bump (maybe half the size of a BB). When everything is relaexed down there, I can feel it on the outer rim. However, upon slight penetration (or if the area is contracted) it moves slightly inside. There is no pain or sensation associated with it. What could it be, and should I have it checked out?

I am 42 years old...6 feet tall...180 pounds...exercise daily...no medical history to speak of.
