How To Cure A Bump Between Base Of Left Thumb And Wrist?

I had a ganglion removed last year. At that time I showed the specialist another bump between the base of my left thumb and my wrist. He said that it was arthritis because it was on the joint. The bump is getting bigger and it is very painful. Will this be able to be removed or will I have to live with it as is?

It can be a bone growth or hard tendon. Now it depends on you what you opt for.If it is causing pain and difficulty in grasping object then you can get removed this as it will not be a big surgery.
If it is not causing any pain then,It is just need observation and it should be left alone. Though keep a watch and if you see there is increase in size or any pain then you can get it removed at that time, Usually these are osteophytes or bone growth and does not causes any major problem.
