Diabetologist 's  Response
dear sir I can understand your concern
I am very sorry for your condition
The medication what you are taking ( glycomet ) is a very good medication.
I suggest you to check Hba1c and blood sugars after complete healing of infection
As infection can also increase blood sugar transiently
diabetes can be prevented by diet and exercise also
BMI should be maintained around 24-25
kindly let me know your height and weight
any family history of diabetes?
regards
