How To Control Diabetics Other Than Taking Insulin?
Im type 2 diabetic I get ill after taking insulin after just a couple of days and continue to get sicker the longer I take it. The pills are not keepiing my levels below 9 this has been going on for 11 yrs. I have totally changed my diet and lost lots of weight. What more can I do?

thank you for your query, many of the diabetic medications act in the beta cells of your pancreas. the beta cell are responsible for the insulin production. and over long time treatment the beta cells get damaged. to my patients i usually say if your diabetic medication is a bulb insulin is the current . if the bulb is not lighting we change the bulb(diabetic medications). and even after changing the bulb if the light is not burning. there is the problem in the current(insulin). so we have to give supplement insulin nowadays the tip of the needle is becoming smaller and smaller especially in the pen devices. and there are insulin pumps also available in the market so consult your treating physician for it. hope this explains
