Diabetologist 's  Response
Dear sir i can understand your concern.
I am sorry to hear you have been having difficulties getting your blood sugar in the normal range now. I am very happy you are this conscientious because having a well controlled blood sugar is very important in preventing the onset of diabetic complications.
Since the diabetes of long duration i guess lantus in not able to control alone.
my suggestion is to increase lantus by two units once in three days until your fasting comes in to control.
If the dose of lantus is going above 50 and still sugars are not coming under control,Then we will plan adding inj novorapid along with lantus.
In my opinion its better to stop using pioz as it will cause weight gain,
Especially in female patients who are above 50 and started menopause pioz may cause hip fractures.
pls follow good diet and exercise.
I suppose I have given the desired response if you have any other query please write back.
Otherwise please accept & rate my answer. I will appreciate your review about my answer.
Best Regards.
