How To Control A Fatty Liver?

my husband seems to be having a fatty liver.he recently got his tests done and the results were --cholesterol 219 mg/dl
triglycerides 214
alkaline phosphatase 214 u/l
bilirubin 0.3 mg/dl
protein 8.44 g/dl
could u pls advise what do the reports indicate and what should be the course of action now?

Hi,

You should have indicated the grade of fatty liver grade, 1 fatty liver is a normal thing and is a normal finding in adults. Usually cholestrol and triglycrides are mildly deranged a statin should be taken for 3 months like Atorvastain to lower the level of cholesterol and triglycerides. The overall reports are not that bad. Maintain a healthy lifestyle.
