How To Control BP?

I am a 42 year old male that just had his 1st checkup in 20 years. I thought i was in pretty good shape? I lift and work out alot. I'm 6'4" 250 with a 35" waist. Doc said i was over weight and he's a bit worried about my blood pressure 130/90. should i be concerned? Bruce

Start with life style modifications > diet – less salt and fats / exercise / avoiding alcohol and tobacco...
Weight reduction is a must.
Check again in 6 to 8 weeks
If the level is same, you may need drugs..
The treating doctor may suggest them depending on need, based on his assessment of the situation.
