How To Confirm Cervical Cancer?

My daughter just had a biopsy done, and they told here, if it wasnt anything to worry about , they would just zap it with nitrogenoxide, but if they thought it was more complicated they would refer her to a OBGYN surgeon, Does that mean she has cervical cancer?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Screening test for cervical cancer is pap smear examination. It is just screening test. Confirmatory test is cervical biopsy and histopathological examination. If no conclusive diagnosis can be given on biopsy then IHC marker study is next option to confirm the diagnosis. Consult your doctor and plan accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
