You questions suggest that water was removed from your lung.

Water can accumulate in lungs in two situations.
1. Around the lung either on right or left side. this occurs due to infection, malignancy, trauma and so on
2. Accumulation inside the lungs in form of Pulmonary Edema - This occurs in Heart Failure.

You must specify which type you had so that I can give you a specific advice.
