How Soon Does Period Resume After Mirena Removal?
Hi there I had a mirena for 6 wk but got it removed due to severe itching and non stop bleeding it was removed last Thursday and since then I have had uncontrollable heavy bleeding that stopped yesterday. My question is how soon will I get back to my normal period. I used to have a 27 day cycle am I likely to start my normal period immediately or

I really appreciate your concern, if this was the menses bleeding then you would likely to have the next period according to regular schedule of 28 days (Average ) which could vary with few days early or late, and it not the menses then you have to calculate it with the last menses date, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
