How Should Stinging Eye Pain Be Treated?

My mom accidentally mistaken her ear drops for her eye drops, its Swim-Ear Ear Drying Aid. She has been flushing it out with water a lot, but still her eye is burning. Does she need to go in to see an eye doctor for steroids, or is there another way she can improve the stinging pain?

nothing will happen, only thing is to flush with fresh clean water. apply refresh eye tear drop 3times daily. it will slowly become al right. should have given name of ear drop. Test vision, if she does not improve then eye doctor may examine the cornea and give the report regarding involvement of cornea. may be anti-allergic tablet like levocetrizine is to be added.
