How Should Neck Cervical Lymph Node And Granulomatous Lymphadenitis Be Treated?
Hi sir! my name is t.rajendra prasad. i am from India. my age is 27 i had a cervicle lymph node at right side of my neck. i consulted dr he to do some tests i done 1} fnac the result is........feature suggestive of granulomatous lymphadenitis means ? 2} x-ray is normal 3}ESR end of 1st hour 31, end of 2nd hour is 58 4} mantoux test : 20mm erythema is present.. sir please answer me from which disease i was suffering from? and which dr should i preffer for treatment?
Hello, Thanks for asking at HCM, your test reports suggest that you are suffering from tubercular lymphadenitis. ie tuberculosis of lymph nodes . You should get physician consult or TB specialist and take medicines . It is completely curable and does not spread. so need not worry at all. FNAC is for very suggestive tissue diagnosis and in your case it is clearly shows granulomatous inflammation ie it points towards tuberculosis , and you have raised ESR and mantoux also 20 mm ie points towards tuberculosis.
