How Should Arm Pain, Soreness And Lumpiness Be Treated?

HI, I HAVE BEEN HURTING IN MY LEFT UPPER ARM FOR ABOUT 3 MONTHS NOW. I HAVE HAD NO INJURY S OR TRAUMA TO IT. IT FEELS LUMPY IN AREAS, SORE KINDA TO THE TOUCH, IT ACHES OFF AND ON AND IT HURTS OFF AND ON ALSO. IT IS PAINFUL IN THE NIGHT WHEN I TRY TO TURN OVER ON IT. IF I TRY TO LEAN ON IT IT S PAINFUL. I HAVE NEVER HURT ANYWHERE AND I AM CONCERNED. IT FEELS LIKE ITS IN THE MUSCLES BUT ALSO AT TIMES IF I PUSH IN ON THE TOP OF MY SHOULDER IN THE BONE ITS SORE.

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you has pin in left shoulder. I think you may be having frozen shoulder, because it is common affection and pain is more in the night. Whether its movements also restricted specially in upper quadrant .Its treatment is mobilization exercises of shoulder and analgesic such as diclofenac. You can be further investigated by X-ray and MRI of the region.You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful.
