How Should A Scrotum Tear Wound With Pain Be Treated?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... I have just felt a small tear apear in the seam of my scrotum it hurts and is a small open wound, what should I do, I was going to put some antiseptic cream on it but i am afraid it will hurt too much.

Hi.
Thanks for your short and specific question.
Nothing to worry much for a small tear in the seam of the scrotum .
Apply liquid povidone 3 to 4 times in a day.
This will faster, but you have to keep the area aerated.
Show to your Doctor and get a prescription of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines if he thinks so that you need, as this area is typical in healing.
