How Should Misoprostol Be Taken Before A Hysteroscopy?

I m having a Hysteroscopy tomorrow and my doctor ordered for me to take Misoprostol 200 MCG twice today. I was under the assumption this was an oral medication and did not realize until just now when I went to take my first dose, the bottle says to insert . My doctor is closed due to the holiday today so I am unable to contact her. Is this as simple as inserting the tablet into my vagina? Do I need to push it in or just place inside?
