How Should Miconazole Nitrate And Zovirax Be Used For Fungal Infection?

Hi there

I just returned from the doctor with a viral infection (suspected oral herpes) on glans and a fungal infection in pubic area and thighs.

I was prescribed 2% miconazole nitrate and a course of Zovirax (aciclovir 200mg) tablets.

I feel silly, but I've forgotten where she told me to apply the cream. I THINK she said the cream was for the fungal infection and the tablets are for the virus. Is this correct? Or should I just apply the cream to both.

Thanks.
