I have a cyst behind my ear for the last 2-3 weeks, which I do not seem to be able to break. Yesterday, my family informed me it is discoloured (black or purple). Sore only to the touch. I work for two oncologists, should I show one of them or go to a GP for antibiotics?

Cysts may occur when oils are produced in a skin gland faster than they can be released from the gland. Swelling behind the ear could be infected lymph node also . Need not to worry.
