How Should Depo Provera Be Taken?

GOOD DAY - I AM ON DEPRO PREVERA FOR MANY YEARS NOW. 3 MONTHS AGO ALL I STARTED MY PERIOD AFTER NOT SEEING IT FOR MANY MANY YEARS. I AM CURRENTLY ON OVRAL 28 TOGETHER WITH THE INJECTION TO STOP BLEEDING. IF THIS CONTINUE CAN I STOP DEPRO PREV AND GO ON OVRAL 28. BUT I NOW IF YOU TAKE THE PILL AND START ON RED TABLETS YOU SEE YOUR PERIOD. IS IT ADVISABLE TO SKIP THE RED TABLETS EVERY MONTH NOT TO HAVE BLEEDING?

Hi I think you can switch over to ovral. You can skip red pills in between for 2 to 3 cycles. But the problem is that it can lead to breakthrough bleeding in between due to excessive thickening of endometrium. So, you can skip pills in between but not regularly. Hope it helps.
