Hello. Thanks for asking from HCM.

I can understand your concern. It is good that you are not having most signs of dangerous head injury. But you have to rule out other signs of dangerous head injury also
: fits
: progressive decrease in consciousness
: non relieving headache even after taking painkillers
: bleed through nose/ear/throat
If you are having any of above signs, you should consult ER as soon as possible. The doctor might advise you CT scan of head to rule out fracture or intracranial bleed. Further management will be decided after CT report.

If you are not having any of above signs, then it is good and your head injury seems mild. For relief in pain and pressure, you can follow few tips
: Apply icepacks at injury site
: Keep your head at higher level than chest
: You can take painkiller like Diclofenac sodium after proper prescription
: Avoid pressure at injury site while lying down

Still you do not get relief, you should consult doctor.

Hope it will help you. Thanks. Take care.
