How Safe Is Taking Primolut Depot 500mg During Pregnancy?
hi i am 5 weeks pregnant and was on cyclogest for around 8 days. now my dr. has asked me to complete one more dose of cyclogest and then stop. she has asked me to take primolut depot 500 mg injection once a week for 2 weeks. IS is safe for my baby? will there be any side effects?

Hi, I have gone through your question. Primulet depo injection is progesterone which supports the pregnancy by making uterine environment more favourable for foetus. Cyclogest is also progesterone.
Both have similar actions.
There is no harm to the mother or the fetus by its intake during pregnancy.
