How Safe Is Taking Mensovit Plus For Abortion?
dr. i am 25, healthy female, no illness , feb 9th i had unprotected sex, and my period feb 23 bt nt mc , i am worrying abt pregnancy.i dont n, can u suggest any tablet for aborting, i don t want to got to the doctor, is mensovit plus is ok ? how i have to take that pills ?...hw to use mensovit plus

Mensovit plus is herbal medicine, that cannot cause abortion. It is used to induce bleeding and regularize the period. For abortion, you have to use mifepristone plus misoprostol after confirming intrauterine pregnancy of less than 63 days.
It should be used under medical surveillance. You should not use at home as it cause serious complication and high risk of failure. As per prescription, mifepristone 600 mg should be followed by misoprostol 400 ug vaginally by gynecologist after 48 hour, if required another 400 ug should be given after 4 hour.
USG should be done after 14 days to confirm incomplete abortion. Abortion process complete in 4 to 5 days. Rest for 48 hours, analgesic and proper hygiene should be maintained. Ensure safe sex practice to avoid unwanted pregnancies in future.
