How Safe Is Pregnancy During An Episode Of Epilepsy?
i m epilepsy patient since from 2 years i am using sodium valproate 200mg and eptoin 100mg.Now i am pregnant, Recently i concern doctor, doctor suggested for EEG. In EEG report shows negetive result for epilepsy.If I discontinue the medicine, it is safe for pregnancy? or any complications will occur?

Any one with epilepsy should not stop the medications abruptly. , as it may precipitate an attack.
You need to continue the meds as before
You might need dose adjustment
You need to have the least amount of drug needed to control your fits
Although some minor anomalies are associated with these drugs, diacontinuing will result in serious complications for both of you
